Big Bend National Park, Texas - 2006 |

| Casa Grande Peak from Panther Pass - I really enjoy this particular mountain. It is accessable from most every side and takes on a different personality depending on time of day and direction viewed. I stopped this evening on the way down from the basin because the serpentine shadow leading to the peak caught my attention. I composed the shot from a location a short walk from this final position but felt the composition needed a little more strength. I moved until I had the barren tree in the foreground and took the shot. |
